Thank you to all participants, spectators and volunteers for our 8th Annual Scotiabank & BC SPCA Paws for a Cause...Walk for the Animals. The Surrey SPCA shelter extends its deepest gratitude for your continued support.

This year, about 500 participants and 300 dogs came out to show their support, helping us raise more than $67,000 and counting!

Please join us in congratulating our local top fundraisers:

Top Fundraisers:

• First Place is Monica Donetti-Ross, who raised $1,580 and won an iPod Touch, generously donated by Collision Plus;
• Second Place is Julie Duciaume, who raised $1,435 and won a TomTom GPS;
• Third Place is Peggy Roscoe, who raised $1,273.70 and won a $100 gift certificate from Bosley's.

Top Youth Fundraiser:

• First Place is Keely Rammage-Scott, who raised $622.36 and won a $30 Blockbuster gift certificate and BC SPCA hoodie.

Top Pack:

• First Place is Bark on the Beach, who raised $2,849 and won a $100 gift certificate to Big Ridge Pub;
• Second Place is The Catwalk Club, who raised $2,601;
• Third Place is Muffin's Gang, who raised $1,606.
