East Kootenay (Invermere)

We're happy to report that our community came together with supporters in Cranbrook and Fernie to raise more than $36,000 (and counting!) for our local shelter. We couldn't have done it without you!

In Invermere, Jamie, Ashley, Haley and Conner have raised more than $80 selling cookies in front of Natures Floor's. They are planning to hold another sale before the walk.

In Cranbrook, Emily Russell and Kyrie Jackson sit in front of Canadian Tire collecting pledges.

On the third Monday of every month, all small dogs are invited to the Paw Shop in Cranbrook for an evening of play and snacks. Each week a donation is taken, with the proceeds going to the walk. The SPCA was invited to Import Auto. While there, Kathy Cavalier helped the children make Rudolph the red nosed reindeer out of dog cookies. Pictured above are Isabel Fuhge (7), Anika Chatterson (6) and Joshua Fughe (3). They all plan to attend the walk on Sunday, September 13.

Cranbrook Dodge donates Science Diet dog food to the shelter.
